The second system on this board that refused to ease. The national service carries Yellow Level-4 disruptive rain over eastern Namakwa and the Central Karoo, Level-2 severe thunderstorms over the Cape Winelands, Overberg, the City of Cape Town, Nama Khoi and Kamiesberg, Level-2 damaging winds across the interior from the North West to the eastern Northern Cape, Free State and Limpopo, and Level-2 winds and waves on the KwaZulu-Natal coast from Port Edward to Richards Bay. Rain 25–50 mm locally 60–80; seas 4.0–4.5 m south of Table Bay; roads closed. No fatalities reported.
