THE STORM

The area south-west of south-western Mexico rose to 70 percent over seven days, up from 50, and a new western area carries 60 percent — two probable depressions this weekend or early next week. The Gulf-of-California low is no longer tracked: it moved inland, and its moisture is the water now under a Moderate risk over Arizona and New Mexico.
